Hi Brenda, I like the sound of free dental care! Trades are a great way to generate referrals. This is an excellent joint venture strategy, another creative way to build a health business without forking out loads of money. You make a very good po...

I find that the best way to receive referrals is to give free sessions to doctors and dentists or trade with them. I have often traded for my teeth cleaning with a Rolfing session. I have had two doctors who traded with me and an herbalist. I got ...

Hi Krishna, This is all very good advice. If people aren't using some sort of marketing system to follow up with their clients consistently, they will certainly lose a percentage of those clients over time. As you point out, it costs ten times mo...

Hi Krishna, I've recently started using a card campaign with my massage clients, and the third card in my campaign is an opportunity to refer someone they know to my business. The person they refer gets a nice introductory price when they bring i...

Hi Krishna. Thank you for your comments. I look forward to being a contributor to forums and learning from other members. I'll do my best to promote your website to my colleagues. Now that I have my new found passion in Massage Therapy, I believe my world is becoming more and more beautiful. I'm learning so much and have embraced the modality of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi. I have renewed energy that I didn't ever expect to have and the best part is, I'm peaceful within my self and this allows me to share my special craft with my clients and those around me. Thank you.

I welcome brief comments on my wall. For those of you who like to articulate longer comments, I recommend using your own personal blog (you'll find it on your page) or use the discussion forums. That way you can interact with other members. Have fun!

My practice is based upon the understanding that there is MUCH of value to be found in the pragmatism and wisdom of the East's oldest cultures (once you interpolate their imagery to our culture's equivalents where possible) you MAY lose the cultural 'romance' but that which IS 'true' remains true cross-culture because the human Anima has changed very little (despite what we might egotistically care to believe).

Dr. Wilhem Reich validated the power of the workings of the Orient's Tantric practices and had his research corroberated by no less than Albert Einstein before the newly-born purtianical FDA supressed his research as 'quackery'.

The Soviets seized the amoral human experimentation of the Nazis upon their capture of Berlin and with refinements put their PSI Ops program two decades ahead of the West who had been more obsessed with Hitler's rocketry and Van Braun.

Past students of mine have likened my processes as being apprenticed to a shamanic Sorcerer... like painting with water colors... layering understanding sandwiched upon firsthand experience and observations. What "we" do has always been part arcane Science, part Art. The Arab cultures referred to those we today consider 'scientists', in their time... as the Magii.
They were both valued and feared.

As today, their powered elite... had no patience to walk the path
and wanted instant gratification.

So... "Feed a man a fish and you have fed him for a day;
Teach a man to fish and you have fed him for a lifetime;
(but... there is a lesser quoted third verse)
...and if he refuses to fish for himself
you may charge him whatever traffic will bear...
for every Craftsman's labors are worth their due."

And those of us who do energy work are literally
putting our very life's force into the transaction
even more intimately than highly-prized Courtesans.
Even Jesu Himself... needed to rest from time to time
because the human conduit can only conduct
a finite quantity of the Life Force.

Work in earnest, but remember to also rest.
You cannot help anyone else if you yourself
are spent and exhausted...

History records many of the Witches in the
Newfane forrest of England fought their own war
and lost their own very lives in MASSIVE workings
to deter Hitler's efforts to cross the channel.

Namaste'...

My physical practice is an adjunct to a life coaching totality.

Its no secret that the mantra has been the Zen-like: "right thought, right action, right outcome", and mind, body, spirit. The synergy occurred upon reading the work of Maxwell Freedom Long on the Hawwaiian Huna. Books like the "Secret Science Behind Miracles".

Sometimes the simplest things are the hardest because there's just no excuse for not doing the self-work that needs be done.

The Season's Best to you & yours...

Top 3 Tips for Getting More Client Referrals

Most of us don't need convincing that a large percentage of new business comes from 'word of mouth'. But, when it comes to taking an active part in getting client referrals we freeze! Why is that I wonder? Is because you don't believe that what you offer is of value? Is it because you are fearful of rejection? Both natural human responses.

BUT, I assure you, if you are offering value to existing clients and they are coming back for more, then you are definately offering something of great value… Continue

Can Workshops and Events Help to Build Your Health Practice?

Many of the health practitioners I work with already recognise the value of holding workshops to expose what they do to people they love to work with. Practitioners generally fall into one or more of these categories:

1. Already running workshops and events but aren’t sure whether they can do it more effectively
2. Are confused about whether they should charge for them or offer them free as a promotional strategy
3. Have a good workshop, but find promoting them difficult
4. Really want to run t… Continue

Are You Getting In The Way of a Flourishing Practice?

Why are some health practices flourishing right now, when others are floundering? Yes, there is a lot of talk of poor economy, interest rates and higher costs of living, but there are still clients out there who are ready to use your services, and a lot of them at that! So lets consider the differences between health practitioners who are thriving with ones who are thriving:

The Floundering Therapist will:

- Wonder ‘how on earth they can compete against all the competition.’
- Hope that… Continue
